Okay so I’m not exactly religious, but to me Christmas is about spending time with and appreciating the people you love. And since I can’t be there in person, I thought I’d shower some of my favorite people with affection today instead.
Gotta start with my leading ladies:
maya i’m seeing you in a few days, i am both nervous and excited (and i’ll probably cry a bit, just fyi. bring kleenex), so i’ll keep this short. i love you so so so so much. you’re my best friend, i don’t know what i would do without you. :*
hannah you are my muse and my twin, pretty much. we’re so in-tune with each other it’s scary. i love you so much and i can’t wait for march so i can give you all the cuddles you’ve been lacking.
isaac there is a special place in my heart meant just for you. i love you and all your wild shenanigans, and think of your voice when i go to sleep at night. plus you’re the only boy on this list so that makes you extra special.
jess i made a vow to start talking to you more, and i’m going to do my best to keep it. i can’t help but worry about you all the time, but i’m also so proud of how much you’ve grown in the time that i’ve known you.
kim i’m so glad jess made you follow me because you’re like a little ray of sunshine and common sense on my dash when i need it the most. plus you’re just hilarious and fun and cool to talk to and so so sweet.
seven my alpha, pretty much. there are very few fandoms that i won’t follow you into. aside from that, you’re my guide/role model to navigating the world as some kind of adult, and i wouldn’t have found over half the people on this list if not for you.
solly my favorite sweetheart. you always brighten up my day with your positivity when you’re around, that and your pretty pretty face.
charlie we have some great chats, sometimes serious and sometimes just flailing over boybanders. also you’re an awesome writer and i wish you would share more of your stuff because there’s never too much ziam to go around.
cassidy gurl u cray, but i love it. you’re also incredibly sensible when you’re being serious and i appreciate that about you a whole lot.
leni i miss you! but i see you lurking there, sometimes. you’ve always been a great person to talk to and i’ve never had to worry about what i say with you.
eliza real life has stolen you away from us and i need my fix of your lovely face and crazy (lovely) hair. in all seriousness though, i hope things are going well for you because you deserve every bit of happiness that comes your way.
cat my beta (who i never send anything to because i’m useless at actually finishing fic). we are very like-minded when it comes to shipping, which i love, and you’re always opening my eyes to new perspectives even when you don’t mean to.
darcie aka cat lady #1. you are a fountain of knowledge (aren’t all librarians) about all things x factor and have dealt with my incessant questions quite well. i can never remember how most of our conversations start because they’re always about the most random things.
ashley aka cat lady #2. fellow disney fangirl for life, we can talk about pretty much anything and everything. we also have similar taste in both music and women, which is awesome.
kay i never see you around anymore, probably because you’re off having cute puppy adventures (which i am not jealous of, no not at all). but i miss you and our very random chats (who’s going to convince me to give grimmy another shot without you?).
gi i respect your honesty, there is no fakeness to be found here. you’ve got a good head on your shoulders and you’re one of the few ziam writers that i actually enjoy reading.
maddy you’ve somehow managed to put up with my descent into boyband hell and i have no idea why. we’ve kind of lost touch but it’s nice to see that you’re still around and things seem to be going well for you.
lattie i will make you love one direction if it’s the last thing i do. seriously though, we’ve been friends for years (almost five now, isn’t it?) and though we’ve had our rough patches i’m so glad to have you in my life.
—- there are a few people that i’ve recently met and others that i have a mutual follow with but we don’t speak (yet) and i adore you all as well, but this was mainly for the people who have been there for me this last year and beyond. but to ALL my followers, thank you for finding me interesting enough to stick around and i hope you all have a wonderful holiday. <3
